Our inventory of bend tooling and equipment at Fast Active Technology is among the largest in the country. We bend a variety of steel, stainless steel, aluminum, and alloy tubes from 10 to 115 mm in outer diameter. Depending on material, size, volume, and bend radius, precision rotary draw bending or roll bending equipment is used. In rotary draw bending, a mandrel is used to support the inner structure of the tube during the bending process to prevent distortion.
Our tube processing capabilities are a perfect fit for low to medium volume exhaust systems and components. As an OEM supplier to various industries (automotive, defense, heavy truck, and agriculture) we are very familiar with the standards and requirements associated with exhaust assemblies. We have built exhaust tubes out of several material types including Aluminized Steel and Stainless Steel, as well as, 304, 309, 310, 409, 439 grade stainless steels.
